Volunteer
Mays Cancer Center Director, Ruben Mesa, M.D., FACP, Virginia Kaklamani, M.D., and Maryam Elmi, MD, selected the theme “A Lone Starry Night – Illuminating the Path to a Cure” for this year’s Cattle Baron’s Gala. This year’s theme represents and helps define an incredible opportunity to give back through groundbreaking cancer research and world-class patient care, we are ILLUMINATING A PATH to a world free from cancer. We are putting an end to the difficult and debilitating cancer treatments, surgeries and side-effects. Together, we’re on a mission to decrease the burden of cancer in San Antonio, South Texas and beyond.
Our event would not be possible without dedicated volunteers giving generously of their time and talent. We’re always in need of additional volunteers to help with Set-up, Clean-up, Registration, Silent Auction, Raffle Ticket Sales, Revenue Enhancer Games, Greeter, Check-Out, and much more.
Thank you to our distinguished volunteers who serve on the American Cancer Society Cattle Baron’s Gala Committee. Their tireless efforts and unwavering dedication to finishing the fight against cancer are instrumental to the continued success of our event.
